Frequently Asked Questions
"Why should we choose you as our DJ & emcee?"
I have more than 25 years of "Full-Time" experience. I offer competitive rates and, most importantly, all of my clients have been extremely satisfied with my performances at their events. Anyone can hit "play". Playing the right music and keeping people on the dance floor is key.
"Is it possible to see you perform at an event?"
Most events are typically private functions, so I am unable to allow potential clients to see me perform. However, I do offer a free consultation and have a long list of referrals available.
"Will you act as our Master of Ceremonies?"
Yes. I will make all necessary announcements throughout the event. I strive to make your event run as smoothly as possible and work closely with your other vendors/coordinators.
"What type of music do you play?"
I play a wide variety of music for all ages to enjoy. I have hits ranging from the 50's to today's Top 40, so you can rest assured knowing that your guest will have a wonderful time. I encourage my clients to provide me with a list of songs they would like to have played, as well as a "do not play" list.
"Do you have a music list to choose from?"
Yes. My music listing is a list of the most requested songs for wedding receptions. I have thousands of titles and my list highlights the most requested songs.
"Do you provide dance lighting?"
I offer basic Dance lighting for most of our packages. I have several packages to choose from depending on the effect you would like to achieve. Yes! I do have a "mirror-ball" (upon request)!
"What do you wear at the weddings you perform at?"
I generally wear "resort Casual", "Tommy Bahama - type" shirts with black evening slacks. However, if you require formal attire, arrangements can be made.
"Do you have a wireless microphone for toasting?"
I provide a wireless microphone, for use, at no additional fee. I use professional-quality wireless microphone to ensure maximum sound quality and reduce the risk of feedback and other sound quality issues.
"What is your style of announcing?"
My style is on the conservative side. The bride and groom are the "stars" of the show. All of the attention should be placed on them, not on the Emcee. My goal is always to tailor to the crowd in a very professional manner.
"Can you provide music for additional area(s)?"
Yes. I can provide music to suit your audio needs. I have a variety of sound systems to accommodate 1-1000+ people in multiple locations.
"Do you have insurance?"
Yes! Your venue may require proof of liability insurance and this can be provided upon request.
"Do you recommend other wedding professionals?"
Yes! I have been in the events & weddings business for over 20 years and have partnered up with vendors that will work directly with you. I will put you in touch with vendors and assist you in securing your venues. I am fully insured and so are the vendors we work with. I also have planners/coordinators that will assist you on your wedding day.
