We use laptop computers with software designed for use by professional DJ's. In keeping with the times, and technology, we use state-of-the-art sound reinforcement systems. Our systems are very advanced and of commercial and "professional" quality. We take pride in our equipment and use only the best.
When it comes to the fun part, the dancing, we don’t “just hit play”. We "beat-mix rather than the “fade and play” method. You know, that’s when the music fades out and there’s a 5 – 10 second period of dead space before the next song starts. And when the next song starts you’re standing there, looking at your dancing partner, trying to figure out what the next song is. Beat-mixing keeps the people from leaving the dance floor at the end of the song.
We pride ourselves with the ability to “read the crowd”. If you prefer to give us free reign on the dance music, we will insure that your guests will have a good time. We know the current top hits but we encourage our clients to provide us with a list of the songs they would like to listen and/or dance to. It's also important to know what songs you do not want played. Our song library spans the last 90 years and includes the current top 40 hits and music from most genres. We have provided entertainment for many international events and have collected music from all of them. So nothing is out of reach!
