Alan's entertainment career started out when he was very young and he used to entertain his mother by singing songs from Bobby Vinton and Johnny Mathis. As a teenager, Alan used to DJ parties in his garage using turntables and mixers from Radio Shack. He even made his first "Disco" lights using a "color organ" kit from Radio Shack, that used Christmas lights and moved to the beat of the music. "My passion is to entertain people. I love to make people laugh and put a
smile on their faces. Alan's background is in hotel management. For over 10 years Alan worked in Rooms and Operations management at hotels in Los Angeles, Palm Springs, Newport Beach and here on Maui. Alan's experience and professionalism in working with people is an asset that has helped him achieve the level of success that he enjoys today. As a father of two grown children and a husband of over 30 years, Alan knows and understands the meaning of family and teamwork. Now, with over 1,000 events and 15 years of experience in the entertainment field, Alan is one of Maui's most requested and versatile DJ/MC/Entertainers for the numerous high-end, celebrity weddings and corporate events throughout the State of Hawaii. Alan has also traveled to Canada to entertain at several events and was also invited to entertain at a week-long corporate event in the Bahamas. Alan has entertained for corporate events including American Express, Boeing, CBS, FedEx, Hewlett Packard, IBM, Louis Vuitton, Mercedes Benz, Microsoft, NFL Players Association, Seagate, Viacom, Wells Fargo and Western Digital, to name a few. Alan is also one of the top recommended DJ's for many of the independent wedding coordinators, as well as the Four Seasons Resort-Wailea, Four Seasons Resort-Manele Bay, Four Seasons Resort-Lodge At Koele, Grand Wailea Resort, Hyatt Regency Maui, Hyatt Regency Waikiki, Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort, Ritz-Carlton Kapalua, Sheraton Maui, Turtle Bay Resort, Mauna Lani Resort in Kona, Hawaii Prince Hotel on the Big Island and Westin Maui. Alan has emceed for many awards programs, and team building events. His events have numbered as few as ten people to over 2,500 and he has donated his time and services to many of the local charities such as American Cancer Society, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Maui Aids Foundation, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Terry Fox Run, National Kidney Foundation, Queen Lili'uokalani Children's Center and Women helping Women. To round off Alan's talents, he is also an
accomplished vocalist and has performed at numerous wedding ceremonies,
receptions and corporate events. Alan's favorite singer's include Frank
Sinatra, Michael Buble, Kenny Chessney and Kenny Rogers.
To say the least, Alan is a crooner which is very fitting when it comes to
weddings. |
